Alemania, Turquia, Rusia y (lo siento!) España!!

Hace dias leí un artículo en el diario Levante-EMV sobre la Eurocopa, el autor es Matías Vallés (premio Ortega y Gasset de Periodismo 2006). El artículo se titulaba nada más y nada menos "Portugal, Croacia, Holanda y (lo siento) Italia". Antes de leerlo pensé que el propio Matías habría viajado en una máquina del tiempo justo al día en que finalizaban los cuartos de final y que regresó sin alterar el curso de la historia para escribir este maravilloso tratado científico. En él se explicaba de forma sencilla quién iba a pasar de cuartos y quién no, y cómo no, esto dejaba fuera una vez más a España. La verdad es que no me importó leer como predecía "Rusia se limitara a perder" ante Holanda, pero la frase que me dió coraje fue "no alarguemos nuestra agonía" refiriendose a España.
La verdad es que vi cada uno de los cuatro partidos de los cuartos de final con ganas de que se invirtieran los pronósticos de nuestro Nostradamus del siglo XXI y fui disfrutando con cada uno de estos errores de predicción sobre todo con el de España. Ahora que hemos alargado nuestra agonía y con el permiso de los pesimistas...
vamos a por la Eurocopa!.

Recuerdo aquellos anuncios de hace unos quince años de los recopilatorios de música: Máquina total, Lo + duro, etc. Sonaban durante unos segundos las dos o tres mejores canciones del cd pero era imposible averiguar el título de la canción y terminaba comprandome el cd sólo por dos temas. Ahora con internet la cosa ha cambiado pero yo sigo echando de menos aquella época.

¿Cuáles son tus intenciones?

Ayer fui a conocer a la madre de mi novia, quería que fuera a hablar con ella para comprobar que no tenía malas intenciones con su hija. Al principio me sentía como Ben Stiller en "Los padres de ella" pero al final la cosa no fue tan mal.

La persona adecuada

Hace años en clase de "Psicología de la pareja" la profesora concluía que el estado ideal del ser humano es estar en pareja. Yo diría que el estado ideal es la pareja si ésta es la correcta. Es peligroso dirigir el amor a alguien que no lo merece, porque como decía Quevedo se puede convertir en una enfermedad que crece si es curada. Quizás no exista la pareja ideal pero sí la persona adecuada.

Prefiero crear a destruir

Nochevieja 2007, al salir de la sala Javi se incomoda al ser grabado por Kike y por mi y reacciona de forma violenta. El resultado es la caída de mi móvil al suelo y su inevitable destrucción. Esta es mi venganza... prefiero crear a destruir.
